Athletes for Justice x 670 The Score Host "What About Chicago" Radiothon
Athletes for Justice, By the Hand, and Chicago’s WSCR 670 The Score teamed up June 23 to host the “What About Chicago” Radiothon.
“What About Chicago” featured conversations with athletes and change-makers discussing their involvement with Austin Harvest, a local food market in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood. All proceeds of the fundraiser will benefit Austin Harvest.
In the summer of 2020, professional athletes from the National Football League, National Basketball Association, National Hockey League, and Major League Baseball, along with several public figures, joined Athletes for Justice, By the Hand, and local youths to establish Austin Harvest.
“What About Chicago” will deliver essential resources for Austin Harvest to continue serving the community year-round.
